Avetik Isahakyan house-museum had been established in 1975 and is hosted in the home-building of the great national poet. The building was constructed by Nikoghayos Isahakyan - the poet's grandfather, and reached nowadays with almost no changes. The study room, living room, bed-room, kitchen, cellar and the bakery house (tonratun) have been reconstructed. Visitors of the museum can be introduced to both -the personal things of the poet and to the Gyumri life-style of a reach citizen of 19th century.
